Lars Lofas is a veteran songwriter, producer and performing artist currently residing in Atlanta, GA.
Lars is a dynamic and powerful live performer, whose energy is infectious. He has been successful fronting bands, as lead singer and guitarist, in New England and New York since high school. In the 1980s Lofas was the founding member of the band Tragus, part of Boston’s flourishing rock scene with contemporaries that included Aerosmith, The Cars, Boston and The J Geils Band. During that time, Tragus performed and opened for acts including Nazareth, Blue Oyster Cult, Talas and Extreme.
He later formed the band 30,000 Days in the Denver, playing gigs throughout the area. His latest project is a country rock project called 12 Notes, working with a variety of Nashville-based singers, songrwiters and musicians. Lars has also owned recording studios recording and producing multiple artists over the last 20 years.
Lofas has unbridled passion for great songwriting - strong melodies with powerful singalong hooks. Today, his primary focus is writing songs for emerging and established country rock artists.
