Emerging from Midwest America, the project “157frq” consists of frontman Jack Regent (formerly of Down & Dirty/Heavensent), guitarist Mike Albrecht, and bassist Spencer Ducato. A vision in the making since 2019 now finally seeing the light of day in 2026, the project aims to blend the angst of the late 90’s/early 2000’s with the modern edge of today, blending old school riffs with modern production, and an unconventional yet impactful vocal/lyrical style.
The project prides itself on its emphasis on groove, rawness, and emotion. It’s not afraid to be uncomfortable, and it isn’t one to shy away from dark subject matter. With themes heavily surrounding trauma, mental illness, self hatred, and the gut-wrenching process of finding yourself, 157frq delivers their take with angst, grit, and intent.
Currently partnered with Arson Theory, 157frq is here with one message, and one message only: “You can’t take me out of a world I was never a part of.”
