16 Knives has been founded in 2013 by three childhood friends, Maxime as singer/guitarist, Vincent as guitarist and Florian as bassist. they have been joined by Alexandre as drummer a year after.
Their main musical influences come from Incubus and Queens Of The Stone Age.
In an era where music is largely composed using computer technology, 16 Knives stresses the ‘human’ aspect of their music, as they believe that the originality of rock is rooted in its imperfectability.
