17 Letters

17 Letters, a duo consisting of artists Cye and Jack Danger, emerged as a musical project during their first year of undergrad in North Carolina. Initially delving into rap, as time has gone on the collective have incorporated other genres like pop, alternative, indie and most recently hyperpop. Uniting their diverse works is a thematic interplay of desire and weariness that resonates throughout their discography, described by contributors to Smalltalks Mag and the IMF Blog as "steeped in nostalgia" and "ethereal yet hard-hitting."

With a cumulative 60,000 streams across all platforms and nearly 400,000 plays on YouTube, 17 Letters has garnered a notable digital footprint. This success has lead the group to collaborate with well-known acts, including Polish hip-hop great Białas. The crossover resulted in the song "Cały Ja" which has since surpassed 130,000 streams on Spotify. Their forthcoming album, "when yesterday was years ago," is slated for a summer 2024 release, promising a continuation of their existential exploration in "the best years of our lives."
