After dropping a number of projects he jumped on a cross-Canada tour that was cut short due to personal affairs and having to overcome life's obstacles. After quite the hiatus, he came back under the name 199V, in honour of his late friend Valentino, and joined the ODDIO Ent. family.
His debut project Twentytwo under the new moniker, which dropped in Fall 2017 was a milestone for the artist, marking a change in his sound and outlook. The EP gained recognition from the likes of XXL's Dash Radio, Earmilk, Bluntiq and more. His standout single Way Too Much, featuring JT Soul & Jei Bandit, was featured on Trap Party's YouTube page and drew in a lot of hype for the project, resulting in a sold out release event at Le Belmont venue in Montréal.
Most recently the young MC has been working on his next project while dropping a slew of singles, most notably Love Star, while showcasing his ability to produce his own music and just how far he's come as a creator. With his EP dropping this January 2021, almost exactly 3 years after his last, he's gearing up for what is looking like one hell of a rollout.
