2004 is an up-and-coming independent alternative rock band from the City of Dasmariñas, Cavite. Formed in 2018, the band consists of Kyle David Flora on vocals, Mark Neil Lamac on lead guitar, Franz Joehann Eldridge Raffael Espiño on rhythm guitar, John Hernan Bautista on bass guitar, and Jeremie Rea on drums.
The band started as an avenue for musicans-turned-friends to play music together, to say what they need to say in a way that they see it fit.
Paying homage to the forefathers of rock music, the band's sonic direction is derived from the synthesis of the band member's diverse musical taste and influences. A combination of riff-driven guitars, steady rhythm, and gut-wrenching lyrics will bring you to a haze that you will never experience the same way twice.
Currently, the band has released two singles, "Dim The Lights," followed by "Wanting Somebody" a few months later.
