24th Fret all started in the practise rooms in a Bangor School, where Robbie McCartney and Oliver Rea jammed out for hours after school, writing music, covering Green Day, and hoping some day to make music for the world to hear. Joined by Lewis Marks on bass, and Morgan McNally on drums (or as he put it "I just hit things, eat pizza and go home"), 24th Fret was formed.
They got involved in a project designed to promote local talent, and began practising and writing solidly at every opportunity. Fast forward a year, and they had their first single, "Love and War" recorded, as well as playing in several local gigs, with big dreams for the future.
Another six months passed, and 24th Fret kept writing. Their second single, "Two Way Street" made its debut at a local gig in Belfast, and was released a month later.
24th Fret are now regularly playing gigs and always writing new music, hopeful that some day the whole world will hear it.
