In the dangerous depths of Gary, Indiana emerges a lyrical street poet, by the name of 2Face. At first glance you would assume his music is gangster rap, but when you listen closely you hear something very different… something deeper. His pain and delivery immediately captures your attention. Face is a street reporter giving you an inside look at the underworld from his perspective. Where friends become enemies, and loyalties are tested. The lyrics paint a vivid picture that you can almost see, as if you were there. Spott is a story teller, these aren’t just songs. They are stories about his life. In the pursuit of happiness, Face is looking for true love and that is evident in the second half of his latest project. “Stories”, is the first project where he sought out a specific sound from various producers other than just himself. His growth and maturity is what stands out most. This may be his most complete album to date next to “Russell Boyz” and “Agape Love”.
