Throughout his teenage years, Ruebz became increasingly engrossed in music from a plethora of different artists. From the cool moody swing of tracks like 'Gorillaz' Feel Good Inc' to raw outpours of painful emotion on tracks such as 'Eminem's Rock Bottom', Ruebz began to connect with music and the stories told through it, on the deepest level. Eventually this build up of creative tension flowed through his fingers into the first rap he ever wrote over an instrumental from 'The Slim Shady Lp'. Limited by overwhelming anxiety he imagined an alternate reality where a close friend of his revealed they wanted to join him on this quest to create meaningful music which would give him the courage to share his creativity with the world. 2 years after writing his very first bars, he would discover that his own twin brother Lz had been doing exactly the same thing and 2W0 was born.
