My Name is Ray aka 2x ,I’m from the Eastside area of Detroit
That’s where I started my child hood.
McNichols & Runyon was the neighborhood I grew up in.
As kid growing up I moved around a lot I had to find a getaway, and my getaway was school & sports. I started playing sports at the age of 8. I played football, basketball, and Ran track. All the way up
Till I played college sports.
I did 3 years of college an my 3rd year of college I got injured in the middle of the season, which caused me to missed the last few games.
Once I found out I couldn’t play after that semester I returned home.
An from then I was working everyday trying to make ends meet it got so bad at one point I was living in my car for almost a year then people who I was close to start going to jail then I turned around went to jail myself then people was passing away.
My biggest inspiration in da music scene was lil durk and my brotha
Lil Durk was one of them because at the time everything he talked about i nearly could related in a lot of ways.
I started taking Rap serious when i turn about 21.
An around that time everything at one point just felt like it was falling apart. I had no one to turn to and that’s when music became my bestfriend.
Me personally I don’t think my style is comparable to nobody because how versatile I am
