2yu is a Malaysian songwriter, producer, and genre-fluid artist blending hip-hop, hyperpop, indie, and R&B. A music composition graduate from the University of Melbourne, she bridges her classical training with the raw energy of underground music scenes to create a sound that is deeply personal yet inherently digital.

She first gained traction in the Japanese SoundCloud community, where her debut rap track, “E Girl” (feat. nyamura), went viral in 2020, followed by 王 / King (feat. Lelolelo), solidifying her presence in online music spaces. A self-proclaimed “citizen of the internet,” 2yu thrives on digital collaboration, frequently working with underground artists and producers across the globe.

Her music explores modern youth experiences, self-identity, and society with poetic charm, drawing from the raw lyricism of 2000s emo (My Chemical Romance), the futuristic textures of hyperpop (100 gecs), and the smooth aesthetics of Asian R&B (keshi).
