Formed in 1998 by Jay Minogue (Guitar/Vocals) & Rob Price (Bass Guitar/Piano), 3 In A Row exploded onto the local seen in the late 90's, with a ferocity that had many proclaiming a huge future for the still young, Copacabana Band. The self-released "New Game" and debut single "Follow Me Home", quickly found it's way onto MTV, Rage and Chanel V, thrusting the group into the spotlight of the mainstream media. After hundreds of energetic live performances, along with numerous TV and radio appearances, 3 In A Row seemingly dissipated as quickly as it began, leaving only the soundtrack of era-surfing films serving as evidence of their stratospheric rise.

2019 saw Minogue & Price float the idea of recording a new 3 In A Row album, solely for nostalgia purposes. Aiming to capture both the energy and youthful exuberance of those early years, what started as a private project soon gained unforeseen momentum. This forced the pair to re-evaluate production plans, as the prospect of a full-length release loomed, adding a new level of professionalism to what would eventually become the 2020 album, "20/20". Fashioned as a retrospective look into the past and consisting entirely of songs Minogue had written during the early days of 3 In a Row, 20-/20 takes both the musicianship and production skills of Minogue & Price to new levels, with the album perfectly encapsulating the original feel of 3 In A Row and production levels well beyond any of the pairs previous releases.
