My name is 30901. I'm not famous and this is a personal message to anyone kind enough to read this. I am a 20-something creator of all things beautiful. My earliest influences stem from meeting James Brown on Broad Street in Augusta, GA when I was about 8 years old. When James Brown died in 2006, I was at his funeral at the Augusta Civic Center now called the James Brown Arena. My Godfather and him were close friends and I was able to sit close to the stage. That day I saw of the greatest entertainer of all time, Michael Jackson. At that moment, I knew what wanted to do with the rest of my life. I knew that I wanted to make music that would bring people together no matter their backgrounds, race, or financial status. I knew that I wouldn't always have a traditional song with a chorus, a hook, or a verse because James Brown didn't. Sometimes his songs would sound like one take rehearsals, with him just doing exactly what he felt. I knew that as long as I was honest and authentic my message would resonate.
In, 2019 I created a record label called CMMC, LLC. This would be a hub for all things creative. A space where I could experiment and merge my passion for music with my passion for ownership. After experimenting with music for over 10 years, I finally released my first single Entrepreneurs on August 21, 2020. It details what one may experience coming from the inner-city. However, God, family, and love got me through.
