3269 Chise [born Ashaun Mason] is an emcee/indie artist, born & raised from the eastside of Detroit MI [8 Mile & Gratiot to be exact]. He got his first start in music at the age of 6 years-old, performing as a member of his church choir along with other family and relatives.
Over the years, he honed his talent by performing during family gatherings, in school-based talent shows, open mics, and any opportunity that would afford him a chance to perform his music, and develop his talent as an emcee.
Another key influence in his life, would come by way of his older brother who helped teach him how to write in song format, and structure his versus and choruses. Consequently, all the years of development and hard work would culminate in his first mixtape entitled Something Special (circa 2015), in which he only gave out via physical copies across the Detroit area.
“Pray for Me,” "Feel Good Music,” "Forever,” "The Woman You Are," and "Save Sinna" all were released as singles and videos shot by director, B. Hughes TV. As a follow-up to his first project, Chise released a collaboration project called Chopped Suei, Vol.1, with Detroit based producer Merch Music; which is currently available on all digital media streaming platforms everywhere. Some of the standouts from this project were "Black Love,” "Haters,” "Greatness,” "Starting 5,” and "Tell You.”
