3rd Whosane

Atlanta-based MC 3rd Whosane is an independent rapper known in the underground for his
versatility and thoughtful lyricism. Born on the south shore of Freeport Long Island and raised in Queens, music has been a part of his life from the very beginning. Drawing inspiration from his father - a Worldwide reggae and soca producer and professional drummer - he has dreamed of being a musician for as long as he can
remember.
Coming up in the 90s, 3rd’s music is heavily influenced by legendary rap cliques like Bad Boy,
The Wu Tang Clan, Death Row, and Ruff Ryders. He relocated from New York to Atlanta and would switch every year staying with his mother then his father.
High school is where he decided to start taking rap seriously as a career. The move South had a major impact on his music - he learned to transition quickly between northern and southern flows, and combined elements of both styles to create his own unique sound. Since then, 3rd Whosane has released a series of singles and featured on coast-2-coast mixtapes, developing a loyal fanbase in the process.
In 2019 he dropped his first official project, “ Exquisite Wreklessness ” on all streaming
platforms. His latest single, “ Accusations ”, describes the experience of being an artist while in a committed relationship.
For 3rd, music never feels like work - it’s a passion, something to be enjoyed. He can vent about his problems, speak his mind on society, and use his platform to educate listeners all at once.
