5PECADOS are a musical group from Santarém, Portugal, formed in 2023, although its members have been making music together since 2009. Shaped by years spent abroad and the experience of returning home, the five musicians grew up in different countries before reuniting in Santarém. They remain anonymous to keep the focus fully on their music.
Rafael (vocals and guitar), born in Brazil, brings emotional intensity to the lyrics. Bruno (keyboards and vocals), from Switzerland, adds a symphonic touch. Miguel (bass and vocals), raised in the United States, draws from grunge influences. João (drums and vocals), from Luxembourg, brings precision and energy. André (guitar and vocals), from Germany, contributes striking progressive metal riffs.
The name “5PECADOS” represents both the five members and the themes they explore: doubt, desire, anger, melancholy and ambition. Their sound blends heaviness and melody, modern and traditional elements, mixing multicultural influences with Portuguese roots. The band values creative freedom through anonymity.
