If you’re a Canadian on Instagram, you’ve most likely heard of 6ixBuzzTV. The page with over 2.4 million followers has become the pulse of Toronto and its distinct (and internationally recognized) culture.

In 2018, the brand introduced a record label and has since collaborated with artists on over 20 releases. Their debut album 6ixUpsideDown was released the same year, and featured many artists prominent in the Toronto scene, including Pressa, Houdini, and Smiley, Their second compilation, NorthernSound, was released in 2019 and brought on the tape rising artists NorthSideBenji, Pvrx, and Bvlly.

In April 2020, the label announced a joint-venture record deal with Warner Music Canada, marking the start of their most prominent pursuits in the music industry. These commenced with the single "Mansion" with Pressa and Houdini (following Houdini's passing in May) and “Urgent Messages” with 88Glam. Both songs appeared on their third album “Canada’s Most Wanted.”

Among further new discography, 6ixBuzz collaborated with Warner Music Canada on Pengz’ debut album “Can’t Make This Shit Up” in 2021, which was nominated for a Juno Award. This was followed by the single “401” by Top5 and Pressa, released amidst the artists’ growing international recognition. The label is currently curating Top5’s globally anticipated album “Pedro Activated,” featuring the awaited single “21 Questions” with G Herbo. 6ixBuzz is recognized for showcasing Canadian hip-hop and culture to a global audience.
