6merta is a southern Mississippi recording artist, formerly known by his different stage name Chris LeDay, that still brings soul to the new generation of hip-hop.
6merta was June 24th 1992 in Jackson Mississippi but was raised in various parts of the southwest region of the U.S by his army father during the earliest years of his life.
6merta was heavily influenced by the 80s, 90s, and 2000s music industry. Some of the biggest influential names to 6merta is Michael Jackson, Evanescence, Tupac, Lil Boosie, Juvenile, Camouflage, Mouse on tha track, Outkast, and Lil Wayne.
6merta enlisted in the United States Army after graduating high school in Tupelo, Mississippi. Soon after he attended college for Radio and Television Technology at hinds community college, and later moved on to study Audio Engineering at Full Sail University. In 2016, after the birth of his daughter 6merta has put down the mic to focus on family, but has recently return with his debut release “Scars” January, 2020.
