6zm

6zm (they/them), also known as Gizem Oruç, is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, community organizer, technology professional and artist based in Berlin, originally from Anatolia. Founded in 2012, 6zm has been producing and performing electronic music through both solo and collaborative projects. In addition to playing eclectic DJ sets, Gizem has contributed as a guitarist, keyboardist and backtrack engineer to various musical projects across genres. Their solo and collaborative performances have been showcased at renowned venues in Germany, Turkey, the United States, France and beyond. Gizem continues to collaborate with creatives in performance, theatre, film, and interactive multimedia arts, engaging in both technical and artistic capacities. 6zm is an alumni of OneBeat 2015 Cultural Exchange Residency.
