BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND – THE 77s with an album of ALL NEW SONGS – our first in 22 years!! Ever since we released our last project of original material “Direct” in 2002, 77s fans have clamored non-stop for more new original material. We are now VERY excited to finally be releasing some of the most exciting tunes we’ve ever done, and it’s all thanks to you and your continued interest in our music.
From our humble beginnings in 1979 as The Scratch Band to the present group, our goal has always been to be much more to you than just another rock & roll band. We think of the families and support teams over the decades, both on tour and in correspondence with us via letters, phone messages, e-mail and social media, and our hearts continue to be filled with joy and thankfulness for how deeply we have touched all of your lives. Believe us when we say that you have touched our lives as deeply. We feel it every time we hear from you, and this new record is our love letter of gratitude to you as you’ve continued to support us both financially and spiritually. Though we haven’t always been there for you, you continue to be there for us! For that, we are forever in your debt and this new project is our way of saying thanks for all the love you’ve shown us throughout the years.
