7Dime

Clinton Chibueze Dim, also known as <a href="spotify:artist:2ezc7Zq9xX0tADcy8UbvNi" data-name="7Dime">7Dime</a>, is a Nigerian rapper, singer-songwriter and performer with a vast range of musical taste and fluidity.

A native of Imo, a state in eastern Nigeria, 7Dime hails from Ideato North local government area. Although he was born and raised in Warri, he’s now based in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

7Dime has dropped a handful of singles. He debuted in March 2021 with <a href="spotify:track:0AVvovgWo0ktyuJQxrbnEQ" data-name="Zipped Through">Zipped Through</a>, sophomore <a href="spotify:track:7hkhsuxq3GpwOtIVdVb7az" data-name="Take Your Top Off">Take Your Top Off</a> in July 2021, then a follow up 2-in-1 piece <a href="spotify:album:0jRdOLZNCPv3ARpctemipY" data-name="On You for the Night">On You for the Night</a> released the following year (2022), — achieving over five (5) million streams worldwide. Later that year, his fully afrobeats track <a href="spotify:track:3uiWv1HHnX2XwC7OhCbcZC" data-name="Doy (Japa)">Doy (Japa)</a> was unveiled, featuring vocals from EU4RIA.

In March 2023, 7Dime teased his audience with a soulful melodic rap song <a href="spotify:track:4GweGxiFAbZ52NinruQ1xU" data-name="Love Triangle">Love Triangle</a>. During the week, it made <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DXbTop77dnX35" data-name="New Music Friday Naija">New Music Friday Naija</a>, <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DWUHcUDX0za7N" data-name="Naija Bars ">Naija Bars </a>, <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZEVXbKY7jLzlJ11V" data-name="Top 50 - Nigeria">Top 50 - Nigeria</a> and charted #45 on Daily Top Songs: Nigeria. Since its release, it has garnered over three (3) million streams.

In early 2024, 7Dime kicked off the year with <a href="spotify:track:0Jp6hoDzuisNhWJuEZSXna" data-name="YSK Professional">YSK Professional</a>, the first lead single off his forthcoming album &#39;Don’t Play Dumb.&#39; After a long break, the second lead track <a href="spotify:track:5CBcBkdepZGreXhGVxqFtj" data-name="Japanese Denim">Japanese Denim</a> was shared in September.

This year, 7Dime is geared up for good music. His 7-track body of work <a href="spotify:album:4gWCef0xMHSRM0yhlNjZ38" data-name="Don&#39;t Play Dumb">Don&#39;t Play Dumb</a> released on February 7th via Soft Sly Men Music, is already making waves and attaining greater heights.
