7t2names formed in London in 2020 after a chance meeting in a second-hand record store in Greenwich. They released their debut single ‘The Power’ via New York label <a href="spotify:artist:6ovR7OOeUbIa0oUN1wsNTE" data-name="Lorant">Lorant</a>’s Royal Advisor Records in October that year, charting modestly on the French itunes Chart.
Recognition came in early 2021 when legendary broadcaster John Kennedy made “The Power” the Big One on his X-Posure Show (UK Radio X), later inviting the band to perform live songs from their debut EP “Unlocked” for the “Lockdown Sessions”.
The single “Lost &amp; Found” was released in November ‘21 and came with remixes by UK producers <a href="spotify:artist:1hYckhMvQW9qR4AaZJItrW" data-name="Greg May">Greg May</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:731CyAO5vJ6c15UkeOVdNw" data-name="Paramour">Paramour</a> .
In July ‘22 7t2names released the expanded edition of “Unlocked”, featuring a host of new remixes by, amongst others, Fat Boy Slim favourite <a href="spotify:artist:2OdmLaSN87wH3r7ilfaKmc" data-name="Spatial Awareness">Spatial Awareness</a> and French artist and producer <a href="spotify:artist:1KeuV5ImmgYmGVZlBUjB36" data-name="Lacquer">Lacquer</a> , as well as a brand new track “Rise Up.”
