8nfinit (pronounced infinite) is a seasoned beat maker and standalone artist in his own right. Hard at work in his Lawrence, MA studio, Dominican raised 8nfinit describes his sound as mainly urban ¬– dominantly influenced by hip hop, some trap, RnB, and roots from Latin music. 8nfinit has always loved music and began messing around making his own in, believe it or not, Garage Band. That led to a real passion and, after investing in some new gear, some damn good beats. Eight years down the road, 8nfinit got tired of just producing for other artists; he says, “only making beats was just limiting myself”.
Today 8nfinit has released bass-heavy, melodic tracks, finally using his own beats to their full potential. 8nfinit cites Eminem as his biggest inspiration, drawing his name from Eminem’s ’96 album ‘Infinite’. Other influences include Drake, J. Cole, and 6lack, all of which you can hear in his music – as well as vocal flows and melodies drawn from alternative rock.
