Directed his first film at 8 on the Great Lakes, he learned technique at his fathers studio before heading to film school in the Midwest. He then worked with the experimental film pioneers in Pittsburgh and it was here where Warhol suggested he try his hand in the New York and Los Angeles art film scene to showcase his joining of feature film and music. Exploring EDM at the studio of Francesco Scavulo, he collaborated with Peter Greenaway, Godfrey Reggio, Philip Glass, Michael H. Henderson, Robert Altman, Gorgio Meroder. Releasing an early single “I know What I Want” in 1989 from the 1990 EDM release Mile Age with EDM featured in “Baraka'' by Ron Fricke. The 1992 EDM release “Rebel” produced with Malcolm McLaren was eclipsed by the single “Alright” off the album/film “Because” released in 1993 produced with Floyd F. Fisher and Hank Shock Lee; Alright remained on the charts for 63 mo. and was followed by “Mayday” off the album/film “Mortal Walk” 1998 produced with Rick Rubin.
