A Band Called Paul began as a solo studio project by Irish film composer Paul McDonnell. A former orchestral percussionist and rock drummer, Paul's wide variety of influences are reflected in the band's quirky and unpredictable genre bending, resulting in repeat inclusions on the nationwide UK's "BBC Introduciing", awards nominations, and national press coverage in Ireland.
Over time, the band has expanded in number and is currently recording and performing live as a 5-piece ensemble.
