If you take their name at face value, you’d be doing a disservice to the depth of A Boy & A Girl. The dynamic individuals Jon Persitz and Monica Farr who make up the Los Angeles duo are anything but ordinary. Over the course of 2017 they have established themselves as a powerful force in bass music, flipping the genre with their aggressive melodic signature.

After coming together from their roots in Minnesota and Colombia, A Boy & A Girl have quickly satisfied the ears of top acts including Krewella, Excision, Party Favor, Dirtyphonics and Dillon Francis - who pushed Mad Decent to sign the duo’s remix of “Need You” officially under the label. DJs and fans alike are drawn inwards to their heavy tones, so much so that the duo has hit the Top 10 on Soundcloud’s EDM and Dance, Trap and Dubstep chart five times along with receiving international radio play through BBC.

With releases on Big Beat/Atlantic, Mad Decent, Panda Funk and more, A Boy & A Girl are here to stay. They’ve conquered EDC Las Vegas, Avalon Hollywood, and Exchange LA to name a few with more to come.
