A For Astronaut are an up-and-coming Sligo based Indie Rock band with a refreshing take on their original work. Only having started playing live performances as a band in June 2024.
The band has been together for about 2 years, having recorded an EP 'Curriculum Vitae', an album 'If Only We Knew Why' and their most recent full-length album called 'Atrophy Of Reason'.
A For Astronaut have a mix of influences ranging from Indie Rock, 90s-00s Alternative Rock/Pop, Jazz and Psychedelic Rock. With spacey lead melodies, a driving rhythm section, punchy, and thoughtful lyrics, A For Astronaut cover a wide spectrum of sounds which we hope ye enjoy.
