We’re a country band from Fort Worth Tx.
The lead singer Hayden Stanford, and back up vocalist, pianist and producer, Shafer Wilkerson, have written music together for years under various artist names for all sorts of genres. After taking a two year break from music, Hayden reached out to Shafer and the two of them started writing again. Focusing on their roots as native songwriters from Texas, the two created a unique country sound derivative of pop and americano. With the help of Gunnar Bergan on drums, the three of them created the band, A Little Modest, and have released their debut single “I’ll Step In”, late June of 2025.
