A Ritual Spirit

A Ritual Spirit burst onto the alternative scene in 2013 with angsty debut album Carnival Carnivorous, including the singles The Way I Died and Visceral Decay. Subsequent UK tours followed as the band played from Aberdeen to London and anywhere in between, sharing stages with the likes of Warrior Soul, The Rocket Dolls and Sworn to Oath.
Bassist/vocalist Martin joined the tribe in summer 2016 and from there A Ritual Spirit went on to headline the Moshville Times Stage at Wildfire Festival 2017 and win Bloodstock's M2TM Glasgow Grand Final in 2018, earning a slot on the New Blood Stage at Bloodstock Festival - playing on the same bill as Gojira and Judas Priest.
New guitarist Fuzz joined in early 2019, with this current line-up releasing The Antidote EP that November, hailed as "The best thing the band has achieved yet" by one reviewer and "Oozing class from start to finish" by another.
During the pandemic Oli, Martin, Fuzz & Dave returned to writing and post-lockdown recorded part one of a two part album - Elements I - physically released in February 2022, this will hit online stores on 13th May 2022. Zion, the 1st single was released in October 2021, Underneath the 2nd single in December 2021 and Free the Fallen, the 3rd single in February 2022.
Autumn 2021 saw A Ritual Spirit return to playing live on a short tour of North England and Scotland dubbed the “Back On The Road Tour”. They now look forward to playing as many stages as they can in 2022 as they promote Elements I.
