A Titan, A Deity

Formed in 2016, A Titan, A Deity are a group of like minded musicians that came together to create a new blend of Progressive Metalcore with big riffs, leads, and contrasting vocals from their own creative influences.

After forming, 2016 saw A Titan A Deity burst onto the Birmingham metal scene securing a support to one of their big influences, <a href="spotify:artist:71IBhhBhtPLZ8OyVuXOw77" data-name="Monuments">Monuments</a>. This show not only proved their right to be among more established bands in the scene but also gave the band the drive and inspiration towards their debut EP.

Off the back of this release, the band hit the road again securing more support slots with the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:7nCgNmfYJcsVy3vOOzExYS" data-name="The Contortionist">The Contortionist</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4G9wSdX0klmoHfjm9i6DLd" data-name="Loathe">Loathe</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6o8sDniHcZPM1SixvjKiYS" data-name="NOVELISTS">NOVELISTS</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:16fltNcwTM5V9rnxIlcha4" data-name="Voyager">Voyager</a> making them one of the go to names for Progressive Metalcore.

With a further honed, hard hitting sound, the next stage of ATAD lead to the singles <a href="spotify:track:13WuEA2EQU7TvXC3xlcRVQ" data-name="Carpe Noctem">Carpe Noctem</a>, <a href="spotify:track:4QSZWbogsRCL5ymo1KR55A" data-name="Lilith">Lilith</a> and <a href="spotify:track:5f60qY2cXDjZtrSRf1cz2w" data-name="Genesis">Genesis</a>. During the 2020/21 lockdowns, ATAD were hard at work writing and recording a follow up to <a href="spotify:album:2RexrLsgVhW4qDtvKtklad" data-name="Animate / Redefine">Animate / Redefine</a>, titled <a href="spotify:album:4preqGFoSSvmVZoXk2P2eJ" data-name="Descendant">Descendant</a>. The successful release resulted in an appearance at 2022&#39;s UK Tech Metal Fest as well as numerous plays on Kerrang and over 25k streams on Spotify and 135k YouTube video plays.

The quintet used this momentum to smash their way into 2023, with the new single <a href="spotify:album:0f5Bt3velqZUJWdqVoZtOV" data-name="Shattered By the Touch">Shattered By the Touch</a> being released in April and was received with more Kerrang radio airplay as well the band&#39;s debut on BBC Radio 1. The band are set to hit the road throughout the rest of 2023 to promote their new releases.
