After a journey into the Catholic Church culminated at Easter 2014, Aaron May found a calling to write powerful songs of praise for the Church.
When he was asked to lead contemporary music at one of the masses at his home parish, he had a dilemma. There were many modern songs that - although they sounded great - weren't in line with Catholic doctrine. Convicted by the need for more modern Catholic worship songs, Aaron began to write.
Word spread about his music, and he began to sing his songs at conferences, festivals and churches. His most recent song, You, Eucharist, quickly became an epic worship anthem for thousands. It became clear that there was a real hunger for this kind of music in the Catholic Church.
Along with songwriter and performing artist Matt Munhall, Aaron founded The Neumann Project, a Catholic Songwriting Collective, in 2022. Together and with songwriters from all over, they write songs that beautify the liturgy, enhance personal prayer and bring glory to God.
Aaron lives in Columbus, Ohio with his wife Ashley and their eight children.
