Indore-based rapper Aastikya crafts rhymes that touch upon accessible and honest topics, writing mostly about his own life events, struggles, and deep introspections. He is a believer that Music, especially Rap is only as successful as the number of people it impacts and so he makes music following the same ideology.
Aastikya developed a love for Rap through his exposure to Eminem, Jay Z, Kendrick, J Cole, Mac Miller, and so on. The more he listened the more he got interested in the art form. Soon this would lead to his primary way to express himself.
Aastikya went to learn Drawing and Painting from The Florence Academy of Art, Italy, received his Diploma, and returned back to India in 2017. Around 2019, going through a period of self-analysis, introspection, and second thoughts about his life as a Visual Artist, Aastikya started making songs to vent out. In March 2020, he released his first Single - Focus on Me, and received huge support. He hasn't stopped since and in his words "the more songs I make the more I fall in love with Rap and Music", which only seems to suggest an incredible journey ahead.
