AATRA is the techno persona of Andrea Piola, a polyhedric artist hailing from Padua, Italy. After a decade of singing and producing in the industrial metal scene, his newfound love for hard-techno music naturally evolved into an obsession with bringing his own interpretation of the genre to life: dark, industrial and trance-inducing, but never renouncing groove and melody.

His productions have already attracted the attention of respected labels such as Freul Records, Infamia Records (Autektone) and Insane Industry Recordings, with an official remix for the industrial metal band Hand of Juno already released on Out of Line.

AATRA is already a regular DJ at the iconic Decadence event in Bologna, holds a residency at SUTURA in Padua, and has numerous guest appearances lined up across northern Italy this season.

His journey into the techno universe has only just begun, and he’s set to explore its darkest corners.
