AAvery is a 20-year-old rapper raised in Norway with roots in the Philippines. Now based in Trondheim, he’s quickly made a name for himself as a fresh voice in Norwegian hip-hop – known for blending strong storytelling and lyrical precision with warm, soul-inspired production.
His 2024 EP Childhood Dreams, inspired by artists like Dreamville, Saba, and Freddie Gibbs, was praised by NRK P3 for its melodic strength and genre-bending playfulness. Since then, he’s performed at Trondheim Calling 2025 and opened for both Ivan Ave – a respected voice in international hip-hop – and Køber, a key figure in Norway’s old-school rap scene.
AAvery is now working on a new collaborative album that dives deeper into neo-soul and jazz. The project signals a new direction – more organic, more soulful – but still rooted in what defines AAvery: honest lyrics and real expression.
