Abbey Rae is a young and unexpected southern rock soul. Known for her bluesy powerhouse belting, and her compelling songwriting, Abbey Rae blends the traditional twang of country music with the grit of rock ‘n’ roll. Often compared to a young Wynonna Judd and Gretchen Wilson, Abbey Rae brings her own edge and flair to the country music scene through her dynamic live and recorded performances. Based in Nashville, Abbey Rae is in her Senior year at Belmont University, where she studies Commercial Voice and Music Business. Abbey Rae’s time at Belmont has afforded her multiple performance opportunities including opening for Kirk Franklin, PJ Morton, and singing BGVs for Chris Tomlin at Bridgestone Arena. Abbey Rae continues to grow her presence in the Nashville music scene by performing regularly in writers’ rounds and live band showcases and more.
