ABDIEL’s big opportunity came when he participated in the Univision reality show “La Banda,” where he was able to showcase his talent in front of the three award-winning judges Laura Pausini, Mario Domm, and Wisin. After not winning the competition, ABDIEL formed part of a musical group in Mexico and worked with different producers in Miami, New York and Los Angeles. The doors opened for him a year after “La Banda,” when Wisin reached out and invited him to record music in Puerto Rico. After seeing his potential and natural artistry, Wisin not only endorsed ABDIEL but signed him to his record label La Base. Now he’s independent and his dream is to become an international star and help emerging talents one day.
