Hailing from Sydney Australia, Abe started playing drums at the tender age of one & has never looked back. Now 32 & residing in Los Angeles California he is a member of his musical mentor Meshell Ndegeocello’s band. He has been composing, recording, performing & touring as a multi instrumentalist with other artists/producers such as Seal, Andrew Bird, Rick Rubin, Lizzo, Blake Mills, Pino Palladino, Mark Ronson & Marcus Mumford to name a few. In 2024, Abe accepted a Grammy Award for his contributions as a co-producer, writer, and performer on Meshell Ndegeocello's "Omni Chord Real Book," which won the award for "Best Alternative Jazz Album".

Abe has written and performed on numerous Grammy nominated recordings and as a motion picture composer, has contributed to score for multiple films and series, including all 7 seasons of Own network series "Queen Sugar" directed by Ava Duvernay & produced by Oprah Winfrey, Netflix release "Madame CJ Walker", "We The People" produced by the Obamas, 50 Cent's "Black Mafia Family" & the award winning "Hair Tales" on Hulu produced by Oprah & Tracee Ellis Ross. He has also contributed drums & percussion to many feature films including Martin Scorsese's "Killers Of The Flower Moon" alongside the late great Robbie Robertson.
2021 saw the debut of his first solo record release on 'Colorfield Records'.

Abe credits his ancestry, with elders from many corners of the globe, including Fiji, Tonga,Hungary, and Iraq on his musical journey of discovery.
