Recently, the band was recognised and awarded with &#34;Maharashtra Ratna Puraskar&#34; by Zee 24 Taas and Hon. CM of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis ji. Their latest composition &#34;Chal Ga Sakhe&#34; went viral and built a strong fanbase. Abhanga Repost rose to fame in 2016 (active since 2014) with their viral jam video <a href="spotify:album:7xtD4sGJSPzEfVPIJcA1of" data-name="Pundalik Varde">Pundalik Varde</a> on YouTube and Facebook. Starting with local Ganpati mandals, they went on to perform at Mahindra Roots Festival, Smule Mirchi Music Awards, Kalaghoda Festival, Bhimtadi Jatra, and more and also in more than 3 states in India.
