Abissi

Abissi was formed in 2018 from the creative minds of Francesco Menghi (former <a href="spotify:artist:0bACgiY28JZLaxCr4UK36i" data-name="Veracrash">Veracrash</a>&#39;s frontman ), Luca Ibba (former drummer of the alternative band ODE), and Agostino Marino (from the post grunge trio <a href="spotify:artist:3C130LnbK8Z1vRg5EHIjW1" data-name="Little Pig">Little Pig</a>). Alessandro Stranieri joined at the bass later, coming from a more new wave-goth background. The four piece is based in Milan, an ideal backdrop for their sound — a blend of psychedelic heavy rock sung in Italian, drawing influences from stoner rock to new wave, passing through doom, noise, and more. In December 2020, they released the single &#34;Interzona&#34;, followed by a videoclip. Their debut album, &#34;Oltre&#34;, came out on September 25th, 2022 followed by enthusiastic reviews on the music press. New album, called &#34;Paramagia&#34;, is expected for early 2026 and will be preceded by two singles &#34;Pizzo&#34; (out on 9/17/2025) and “Madama Cristina” (out on 11/9/2025)
