Abramo Abramo is the one-man project of Amsterdam-based multi-instrumentalist Bram
Kniest (Go Back To The Zoo, St. Tropez). His debut single A dream of a night in Mexico was
described as ‘Ennio Morricone meets Joy Division’, while Kniest himself likes to describe his
sound as spaghetti prog-rock. The songs are deeply groove-driven and are characterised by
their energetic sound. Casually focusing on the position of individuals in relation to major
global issues, the lyrics form a subtle indictment of inequality. Abramo Abramo takes you on
a trip of recognition, while at the same time serving you undeniably fresh sounds.
