Hi, my name is Abu Bakar Zahid, I’m an Artist and Producer.
this is my journey,


It all started back in the fall of 2012 when I was introduced to music by no one in particular. I just saw a guitar(first ever instrument in my life). I had this fantasy to play that thing but obviously can't have love at first sight. Now I had only bought a dusty ol’ guitar by then and barely knew how to play even a single note properly but I did start watching videos on youtube. Learnt some songs directly even though couldn't really play or sound good or anything. I used to practice 8 hours a day, my hands used to bleed and stuff, but I said "what the hell. I need to practice".


Over the years I taught myself to not only play a lot better(lol) but also to record, mix and compose. I spent time making amends to the ragged little studio, make it more production friendly and recored a few friends to brush up for another shot at our own album. Started producing professionally.


I write some western flavored music, but I’m a big fan of our country’s sound. I sometimes play with the eastern vibe, hence one of my biggest inspirations Nusrat Fateh Ali khan. For the technical side I write a bit odd music, my favorite instrumental band that is “The Aristocrats”. I have a weird fusion style of playing, too many time changes, with jazzy chords and lead lines very eastern but my tone comes from the great blues man, the king of blues, BB King.
