Acceding to Zealots

Acceding to Zealots consists of singer/songwriter, Nicky Grimms aka Travesty Tritt aka Bocephus Kardashian aka God Stewart and Eddie James aka Sex Ed aka Sexual Eduardo on acoustic guitar.

Both transplants from opposite ends of the country, Nicky grew up in South Carolina and Eddie grew up in Southern California.

After several years of eroding away in the desert, the two first started making music together in Phoenix, Arizona in 2015 and their debut album "Memento" was silently released in October of 2020 as the Covid-19 countrywide quarantine continued to make things difficult for musicians and music fans alike.

Their music is generally described as dark folk but oftentimes can be just as bluesy or country as it is folk.

In case you're wondering what Acceding to Zealots means, first off, acceding is a very rarely used word but when it is used, it's typically used when referring to a government or the upper echelons of a hierarchical system and it means "to agree to a demand, request, or treaty."
A zealot in this case is someone who is uncompromising in their ethics and ideals.

So essentially, Acceding to Zealots is the quick way to describe the moment "the powers that be" give in to the requests or demands of a group of individuals who refuse to compromise on their principles.
