Anthony “Ace Boogie” Armenta
Was Born in Bakersfield,Ca & raised between L.A & Bakersfield
although growing up with both parents he along with his younger siblings were in & out of foster homes due to his parents having domestic violence & drug abuse issues & were placed in the care of the LA county department of children and family services.
after his parents were able to get clean & get back on track to get him & his siblings back.
his father would fall back to drugs & would be in & out of prison leaving his mother struggling to survive & take care of her children moving place to place.
His mother moved the family back to Bakersfield,Ca around the time when He was a sophomore in high school, his parents would eventually get back together but would consistently fight & get back together,his fathers drug abuse problem would return,causing his father to lose his job & the family being homeless again,With everything he had been going through, he would get into fights to release anger eventually getting shot & stabbed almost losing his life.
He eventually turned that anger & frustration & focused that energy on music, unlike most Latino or Mexican Americans that got into hiphop to be either a Reggaetón artist or Chicano rapper he choose to become more of a mainstream artist like some of his favorites(the game,nas,mos def,snoop Dogg)
Which until this day is still unheard of or not taken seriously & is determined to trailblaze a lane for all Latino’s in mainstream hiphop
