Acea is the moniker of Swedish producer and songwriter Viktor Hannell-Bonde. Raised in Stockholm, Acea was first exposed to producing music during the comprehensive wave of electronic dance music, flowing out from the Swedish capital during the mid 00’s and early 2010’s. Aged 14, he started uploading house tracks echoing the styles of idols such as Axwell, Steve Angello and Avicii. It didn’t take long until he found his own musical imprint, and at age 16, his music was picked up by the esteemed label Size Records.

Since then, Acea has shown his ability and affection for adapting his style, while still maintaining his musical DNA in a wide array of different genres. He has been a part of the contemporary hip hop scene of Stockholm, working with Yung Lean on his albums ‘Warlord’ and “Frost God”, featuring rapper A$AP Ferg, as well as producing the jonatan leandoer96 alternative EP “Psychopath Ballads” in 2017.

Always striving to pay homage to what feels like his own memories and experiences of other pieces of art, Acea’s lifelong love of video games, music and films makes up the foundation of his esoteric creative expression. His feelings towards music are dependent on the context of the song – what it reminds him of, and the way it connects the human experiences of making memories together. Nothing, and certainly not Acea’s music, is created in a space of vacuum.
