Adam Alvarado

Adam Alvarado is an American/Latino guitarist found in Houston, Texas. Multi-instrumentalist, composer/arranger, and virtuoso. All recordings instruments and mixes were performed and arranged by Adam Alvarado. Also plays lead/rhythm guitars and backups for D.W.I. (Driven With Insanity).


Adam was born in Houston, Tx at November 25, 1995 and started out as a drummer as most of his family were drummers. He picked up his first guitar at the age of 8, so he can start composing his own music. Some of his early influences were Jake E. Lee (Bark of the Moon by Ozzy), Pantera, Rhapsody, Avenged Sevenfold, Dream Theater, Van Halen, Michael Jackson, Voyager (Australia), Kamelot, Backstreet Boys, and George Strait.


Adam officially started his solo project in early 2013 via SoundCloud during his Sophomore year in high school. He’s played for a few churches, Latin shows at a very young age, and now currently plays for a Texas Metal band called D.W.I. (Driven With Insanity) as a lead/rhythm and backup vocals.


Adam Alvarado’s current solo project “Icon” is planned on releasing in early-mid 2020. The music is characterized by heavy riffs and tasty licks. Known as a Prog player, sub-genres include Groove, Thrash, Power, Funk, Electronic, Trap, and Djent.
