Adam & Amy Pope are a husband-and-wife country/bluegrass duo based just outside Nashville in Portland, Tennessee.
Adam, originally from North Carolina, is a seasoned songwriter and entertainer whose songs have earned notable cuts—including “Old Fashioned,” co-written with Robyn Collins and recorded by Darin & Brooke Aldridge on their #1 bluegrass album This Life We’re Living. As a performer, Adam has appeared multiple times on Ernest Tubb’s Midnight Jamboree on WSM Radio, been a regular in songwriter rounds at the Bluebird Café for over a decade, and opened for artists such as Bill Anderson, Gene Watson, Aaron Watson, and Jimmy Fortune (who also lent his voice to Adam’s 9/11 tribute, “Ain’t Over It Yet”).
Amy grew up singing gospel and worship music in church, and since marrying Adam in 2009 she’s become a defining part of their sound—bringing warmth, beauty, class, and soaring lead vocals that blend seamlessly with Adam’s harmony. Since recording their first gospel album in 2017, Adam & Amy have continued making records and performing regularly in the Nashville area and beyond. With tour support from Music Ranch Montana, they travel the country as a family, sharing songs, stories, and traditional-rooted country music with a faith-and-family spirit.
