“Charity” is Adam Ostrosser’s first purely instrumental song, but echoes the finger-style guitar found on “Retirement Song”(Adam, 2002) and “Book Of You”(Whatever Stella, 2011). It’s a thoughtfully optimistic melody. The moment was sobering and invigorating at the same time, like realizing that change is the true constant in this life.
