This year finds Wheeler stretching out to offer his own voice as an artist. With a full-fledged album coming in October 2023, he releases the first single "Can't Not Love You" in July. Penned with his co-writers Jordan Reynolds and Robyn Collins, the lead offering is a gut-wrenchingly melodic confession on the realities of dealing with a great loss. The second single, “Seen Too Much”, is a feel good story about his father’s classic Chevy delivered with punchy electric guitars. The third single, "Sweeter" is a beautifully organic and intimate message to a lover.
