Adam Wissman

My name is Adam Wissman and I am a guitarist/composer/producer based in Nashville, Tennessee. One of my biggest inspirations in my life and my music is my best friend and constant companion, Ozzy, a one year old Goldendoodle. He has gotten me through some pretty rough times in my life, like the recent loss of my father, Chris. My dad is the person I credit with not only introducing me to playing the guitar, but using music to inspire, comfort, teach, and show compassion and love to others around me. I have been playing guitar since the age of eight and earned my BA in Commercial Music from Millikin University and my MA in Jazz Studies from University of Northern Colorado, where I also worked toward completing my DMA in Jazz Studies. I have been recording in my home studio since I was a teenager, managed my college recording studio, and and have mixed and arranged for various musicians throughout the years. I have performed with several bands since I began playing guitar and it has sparked my passion to have as many professional experiences as possible so that I can learn from as many musicians as I can in my lifetime. Music is not only what I do, it is who I am.
