Adanita Ross’ journey is one that proves a strong will and unwavering determination can produce amazing results. A quintessential singer, songwriter and student of all things music, she was born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, NY. She grew up in a home that was constantly filled with different genres of music. Whether it was Cuban tunes her mother would play, the West Indian rhythms from her father Anthony’s native Barbados or the Urban Hip Hop and R&B sounds she grew up listening to. Adanita’s love for music would continue to grew. It wasn’t until Adanita caught a performance by Whitney Houston that she knew a career in music would be her future.
